Concord Pond

Concord Pond Woodstock ME

Concord Pond is located in a secluded part of the town of Woodstock. There is no power in the area which contributes to a feeling of remoteness.
The pond is ringed with low mountains, including Bald Mountain, Speckled Mountain, and Mount Zircon. There are hiking trails in the area which are maintained by the Maine Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club.

The pond itself is not deep, reaching only a depth of 12-15 feet at its deepest part. It is largely, if not entirely, stream fed.  Little Concord Pond is only a short mile or two upstream from Concord Pond, and is now part of the Maine Public Reserved Land.  Concord Pond gives rise to the Concord River which flows down into the Androscoggin River.
